It is particularly effective when used with a hi-vis jacket, making sure the form of a cyclist is seen rather than just another moving light. The rear facing beam is hidden with-in a hood, so is not visible to the rider and will not effect their all important night vision. Lightrider also has a unique split front beam, facing both down to the road and straight ahead. It has a sophisticated power management system ensuring all 3 beams are always at full brightness and automatically switches the road beam to flashing mode then the battery is 80% flat, making sure you always have a light to get home with.
